time traveler's wife (movie)

watched it already.

though i love the book, the movie was just ok. in literature, you'll learn that one should never, ever compare a book to its movie because of certain factors. i agree. but the technical stuff of it was the reason for the setback. it will probably gain a more positive response from someone who hasn't read the book. i personally think it fell flat with the transitions. it could've been better if there were narrations or even a better soundtrack. it was very linear and structured as compared to the woven and intricate storyline of the book. well we can blame it on time constraints. but the "it" factor was just missing. this is why it didn't live up to the hype. but nonetheless, it was a tearjerker. still a must-see. catch it if you haven't yet. :)
